What is a Postpartum Doula?
A Postpartum Doula is a supportive caregiver during the perinatal period. I provide assistance based on what you need from me in the present moment. While it is my goal to set the whole family up for success, my main concern is caring for the mother. When the mother feels supported, the rest of the family often feels more connected, grounded, and at ease.
As a Postpartum Doula, I offer a helping hand, a listening ear, and a caring heart. I take care of you so that you feel more able to care for your own loved ones. I try to fill up your cup, for I know you can often feel drained and overwhelmed. I provide relief so that you can breathe again.
